Summer Cookery Camp @ Nutrilicious Food Co. Foodbar

Looking for something to do for your kids during the Summer? Are your kids interested in food? Who isn’t?

This year, Nutrilicious Food Co. will be running a Mini-Chef Summer Camp for children aged 6 to 12, and 13 – 16.

The Camp will run from the 9th of July to the end of August, 9.30 am to 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with each class lasting a week and costing €99, with a 10% discount for siblings.

What’s involved? An action packed fun-filled kids camp designed to equip the budding mini chefs of the future with valuable cooking and baking skills. Kids will be put into age appropriate groups, and everyone will receive their own Nutrilicious recipes and activity folders.

Each day we will rustle up and enjoy a Breakfast and Main meal plus we will also make and bake a range of wholesome snacks / desserts which will be taken  home to be enjoyed with your family.

Aprons and hats provided, all mini chefs will be asked to arrive with an empty lunch box and an empty  litre water bottle daily.

Yvonne will also pass on all her top secret nutritional knowledge through specially designed games and challenges throughout the week where we will chat about:

  • Why we need to drink water
  • The importance of reading food labels
  • Hidden Salt
  • Sugar
  • Fat
  • Food as fuel
  • Eatwell Plate
  • Top nutrition facts listed on all recipes
  • 5 breakfast, 5 main meals, 5 snacks/desserts

The Camp will take place at Nutrilicious Food Bar, 12 Grattan Square, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

When?

Week 1 Age 6 – 12 | 9.30 am – 1.00 pm | Monday July 2nd – Friday 6th

Week 2 Age 13 – 16 | 9.30 am – 1.00 pm | Monday July 16th – Friday 20th
