Loving your little posts so I thought id reach out with my little dilemma, I cannot eat for at least 2 or 3 hours after waking which results in me reaching for the vending machine our biscuit cupboard in work weekdays which I know is a very bad habit anyway I need a healthy go to breakfast idea i can prepare at home and have at my desk later on in the morning.
I’m the exact same and usually don’t have my first meal of the day until after 11, which is fine! Who made up the rule book that you have to eat on waking anyway lol… blending is a quick and easy way to get an array of ingredients from the different food groups into your body all together. It’s rich in fibre, good for diabetics, keeps you energetic, rich in vitamins and minerals and full of antioxidants, proteins, iron and omega 3s.
ON THE GO MUESLI MOTIVATOR
20g Rolled Oats
30g Flaked Almonds
½ grapefruit peel and pith removed, deseeded and roughly chopped
Juice of 2 oranges
125 ml water
On The Go Muesli Motivator
Put the oats and almonds in a blender and whizz until finely ground.
Add the grapefruit, raspberries, orange juice and water, whizz until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy.
