Its Mary here have you any go to magic potions for ongoing PMT. I’m suffering from monthly cramps, and apparently according to my lovely hubby extreme irritability lol.

Its so unfair what our amazing bodies have to go through but it is true that our cycle may also affect our moods, so a calming juice may be just what you need to ensure that your cycle causes as little disruption as possible. I am renaming this juice in your Honour. Pineapples contain bromelain which is a great muscle relaxant and blackberries are a great source of folic acid. I have also thrown in a Tonic to help that bit more!

Ingredients

The Juice

375g Blackberries 

375g Pineapples 

The Tonic

Just thought of the below its another pick me up tonic juice ideal for time of the month.

250g Carrot 

125g Beetroot 

1 Orange 

125g Strawberries 

Blackberry & Pineapple Smoothie

Method

The Juice

Juice the blackberries first then the pineapple pushing through the pulp.

Blend juice with ice cubes and enjoy.

The Tonic

Juice the carrot, beetroot and orange put juice into a blender with ice and strawberries and enjoy 

Carrots, Beetroots and oranges are high in Vitamins A and C, antioxidants and phytonutrients such as alplha-and beta-carotene.  This juice is also rich in potassium.
