The 5th of January 2015 I put on my chef whites and headed out the door with tears in my eyes and a knot in my stomach.
I actually couldn’t believe that I was heading off on a culinary cooking journey that would last 12 weeks at the beautiful Ballymaloe Cookery School.
The tears were for my two little boys Brandon 7 and Aaron 5, the knot in my stomach was the realisation that I’ve now handed over responsibility of the 2 most important people in my life to my ever loving hubby Brian and how would he cope with the role reversal for the following 3 months !!! Will they miss me? Am I doing the right thing? Am I selfish for pursuing my dreams? Why was i feeling so guilty? All these questions zooming around my head as I drove into the unknown I just knew that this was a new chapter in my life and that there was an end goal.
The end goal was to bring a little idea I had written down years prior into fruition that idea was NUTRILICIOUS. Thank you for reading my very 1st blog post I hope you enjoy my journey into food.
